Info & FAQ
How can we meet you to see if you are the right one for us? We can talk on the phone any time, have a relaxed Skype chat or meet in person for a coffee. You are always very welcome before you decide.
How and when will we get our photos? Within 2 - 4 weeks after the wedding you get your photos in an online gallery to download and a USB memory stick will be sent to you at home by post.
Do we have to pose for the photos? It’s the first time we’ve been on camera. No! Don’t be worried! For the portraits it’s always a very relaxed, fun atmosphere. I make sure you are at ease during the shootings and can enjoy them. I want you to feel comfortable all the time. And then we get lovely, relaxed photos.
How would you describe the way you photograph? My documentary and shootings are very calm. I am always present but never obtrusive or in the foreground. I move around a lot so I can cover all the facets of the day. At the end couples are mostly surprised how much time I have spent with them without them really noticing me. The guests only realize after quite a while that I am the wedding photographer and not one of the couple’s guests and friends. I am very flexible and want you and your guests to feel comfortable with me.
Do you only photograph weddings? I mainly photograph weddings but also accept various other photo commissions. But my work always involves “people photography”.
How many pictures do we get? I photograph the whole day to capture every detail. After I have curated and edited the pictures for you, you get a selection of about 600 pictures. I don’t keep anything back and you get the complete view of your wedding day.
Are the photos edited? Yes! All the pictures you get from me are fully edited and can be used by you as they are.
Do you travel to us? And what about the cost of that? Yes! I live in Berlin but 90% of the weddings I photograph and accompany take place all over Germany and Europe, I usually arrive the day before by car. Or I fly to destinations that are further away. Travel expenses are not such a big deal these days. I always arrange a flat fee so that we all know what to expect. Just send me an email.
When do you start on a wedding day? I usually begin about 2 hours before the ceremony so I can photograph the preparations. These pictures very often turn out to be especially precious because the bride and groom are then still apart and can later experience how the other one spent this part of the day. The “Getting Ready” photos have a very special atmosphere. You can really feel the mixture of excitement and anticipation.
